How It Works

Step 1: Locate the “wings” at each end. When the wings point away, the Skimmer Shield is in the proper position.

Step 2: Firmly grasp the “wings” and pull toward you. This bows the Skimmer Shield into a semi-circle. Hold this position.

Step 3: Slide one end (“wing”) into skimmer opening and then slide the other end (“wing”) into the opposite side.

Step 4: Gently release the Skimmer Shield. It will automatically straighten and lock into place against the sides of the skimmer opening.

Step 5: Relax and enjoy! Your pool is now protected from clogging, loss of suction, and other potential damage from pesky debris.
